The Author has been playing Magic: the Gathering for some time. His first deck was the Red/Green “Deepwood Menace” which he brought, by coincidence, on Mercadian Masques release day.

And here it is in it’s glory!

Some point later, when I was drafting regularly and playing a bit more seriously I realised I should put together some simple decks that I could use to teach my flatmate and other interested people to play. I clicked that I should as ready have most of the cards to make up the Intro Pack decks from Return to Ravnica and Gatecrash… and so I did. Then I started adding in extra cards to let me reassemble another old precon every time I put through a singles order…

So here I am now creating a website about something which a lot of people never really liked. And that’s a shame, because precons are great. I’ve got a lot of things I can say about this matter: just you try me.
